Lyndsay Ferguson is the Workforce Director for the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County. In this role, she is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Chamber’s workforce development and education programs.
Lyndsay graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She has more than 10 years of experience in human resource leadership. Before joining the Chamber, Lyndsay worked as the Senior Director of Talent Support for YES Prep Public Schools, a Broad Prize-winning open-enrollment public charter school in Houston, Texas. In this role, Lyndsay led a team that was responsible for full-cycle human resource support for over 1,100 employees serving more than 10,000 students.
Prior to her work at YES Prep, Lyndsay was the Associate Director of Employer Relations at Union College in Schenectady, New York, where she worked as the primary career-services advisor for seniors while also partnering with regional and national employers to ensure students had exposure to a variety of career opportunities. She also has HR leadership experience in banking and health care.
Lyndsay and her husband, Trip, live in Huntsville and are proud parents to two boys.
Amy Goddard is a Principal Systems Analyst at Parsons Corporation, in Huntsville, AL. She is part of a team that is responsible for the systems architecture development for a component of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.
Ms. Goddard has more than 19 years of government and geospatial industry experience, including having worked as a Research Scientist for Schafer Corporation, Inc., in Huntsville, AL; as a government liaison for a student initiative with PeopleTec in Huntsville, AL; as Director of the Geospatial Training and Application Center (GTAC) at the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL; and as a Technical Manager for Test & Certification for Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville, AL.
Born in Huntsville, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering and an MBA with a concentration in Management of Technology from Auburn University.
Ms. Goddard currently serves as a member of the Auburn University Department of Polymer and Fiber Science’s Alabama Textile Education Foundation (ATEF) Board and as co-chair of the Leadership Huntsville Mercury Rising Chili Festival committee. She is also a Sustainer with the Junior League of Huntsville, Inc.
Kimberly Haynes is a native of Huntsville and is currently the assistant principal at Owens Cross Roads School. Since returning to the Huntsville area in 2009, Kim has become an active member in the community. She is a recent graduate of Leadership Huntsville/Madison County’s Connect program.
Chris Shearburn is an owner and Vice President of Southern Solar Systems. He has been with Southern Solar since its inception in 2007. Southern Solar designs and installs solar photovoltaic power systems and geothermal heat-pump
systems. The company focuses on developing the small commercial market but also caters to residential customers. Southern Solar conducts its business primarily in Alabama, Tennessee, and Missouri, where they hold general contractors licenses as well as specialty licenses for the installation of solar-energy systems.
Chris has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and he performed graduate studies at the Solar Energy Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is one of the few NABCEP certified Solar PV Installers in the state of Alabama and holds a State of Alabama heating and air conditioning certification.
Raymond G. Toth, Colonel (retired) USAF, is a Senior Manager for corporate and business unit strategy development, Energy Services and US Air Force business development at Avion Solutions, Inc. in Huntsville, AL. Previously, he served as Commander of Arnold Engineering Development Complex, Air Force Materiel Command at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee, where he led the largest and most advanced complex of flight-simulation test facilities in the world.
His flying experience includes operational assignments in the F-15E and F-16, as well as an instructor tour in the AT-38B. His experience also includes developmental test assignments in all blocks of the F-16, and he led the closure of the engineering and manufacturing development phase of F-22A testing as the F-22 Combined Test Force Commander.
Colonel Toth held headquarters-level staff assignments as the Deputy Chief of the Weapon Systems Division for the Air Force Legislative Liaison Office at the Pentagon, and as Deputy Division Chief for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Strategic Studies Group. He is a retired command pilot with more than 2,700 flying hours in over 30 different aircraft, with combat time in both the F-15E and F-16.
Colonel Toth is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. He holds Master of Science degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and National Resource Strategy from the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.
As President of Media Fusion, Richard Williams manages the company’s corporate office in Huntsville, AL, including all the systems and processes that support contracts and employees around the country. He also oversees the Media Fusion communications team and multimedia studio, which operate out of the Huntsville office and provide multimedia services to the company’s government contracts and commercial customers.
Since joining Media Fusion in 2007, Richard has spearheaded high-profile projects for clients like NASA, the US Army, the Department of Energy, and numerous private-sector companies around the country. Richard is a Huntsville native, Auburn University alum (’89), and self-proclaimed technology enthusiast. He understands how to put ever-evolving technology to work in marketing, resulting in solid solutions for clients.
Before joining Media Fusion, Richard served as Marketing Director for Three Springs, a nationwide group of treatment centers. He was also a Senior Account Manager for Benton Newton and Vice President of Operations for American Exhibitions Services.
